Scientific activities of the Orthopaedic department
1. Sunday's Scientific Meetings
Theme: every Sunday morning the whole department members meet for one hour in the early morning
Place: operating room library
Time 8:00-9:00am
Subjects to be discussed: it changes every week to cover
Morbidity and mortality: for discussing the previous month performance, statistics as well as how to improve our work
Journal club: discussing several recent papers from different journals mainly Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery (JBJS), International Orthopedics (SICOT) and Journal of Orthopedic Trauma (JOT).
What an Orthopedic Surgeon Should Know: discussing different subjects in medicine and surgery that may be helpful in our work with the help for colleagues from other departments.
Evidence based instructional meeting and review articles: a special subject is discussed from recent review articles with evidence based.
